Establishment History:
- A Dong Paint Joint Stock Company, formerly known as A Dong Paint Company, was established in 1970. In 1976, A Dong Paint Company was nationalized with the name A Dong Paint Enterprise under the Paint and Ink Company - General Department of Chemistry.
- In 1980, on the basis of merging the Paint and Ink Company and the Chemical Packaging Company, the Ministry of Heavy Industry issued a Decision to establish the Plastic Paint Company under the Vietnam Chemical Corporation, in which A Dong Paint Enterprise is a member unit with dependent economic accounting.
- In 2000, based on Decision No. 40/2000/QD-BCN dated June 29, 2000 of the Ministry of Industry, A Dong Paint Enterprise was equitized and transformed into A Dong Paint Joint Stock Company with an initial charter capital of 10 billion VND.
- In October 2004, A Dong Paint Joint Stock Company increased its charter capital from 10 billion to 30 billion VND entirely with self-accumulated capital.
- In December 2006, A Dong Paint Joint Stock Company increased its charter capital from 30 billion VND to 50 billion VND using self-accumulated capital and additional capital contributed by existing shareholders and employees in the Company.
- On October 12, 2010, A Dong Paint Joint Stock Company used accumulated capital to increase charter capital from 50 billion VND to 64 billion VND for existing shareholders.
- On September 11, 2015, A Dong Paint Joint Stock Company used accumulated capital to increase charter capital from 64 billion VND to 95.9 billion VND for existing shareholders.
