Establishment History
- Formerly a state-owned enterprise established on September 22, 1976
- Converted to a Joint Stock Company according to Decision No. 5674/QD-UBND dated November 8, 2005 of the City People's Committee and officially came into operation from July 1, 2006 with a charter capital of 50 billion VND.
- On June 29, 2007, Saigon Agricultural Food Export Joint Stock Company was officially approved by the State Securities Commission as a public company
- Year 2009: Established Subsidiary is Agrex Saigon Food Joint Stock Company in February in 2009 with a share ownership ratio of 99.92% and increased to 70,000,000,000 VND in 2015, with a share ownership ratio of 99.94%.
- August 4, 2015: Approved to register for trading on UPCoM with stock code AGX
Capital raising process:
- August 2009: Charter capital increased to 90,000,000,000 VND
- November 12, 2015: Charter capital increased to 108,000,000,000 VND

- Wood processing and production of products from wood, bamboo (except beds, cabinets, tables, chairs), production of products from straw and plaiting materials.
- Production of chemicals and chemical products.
