Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- On August 28, 1996, according to Decision No. 2365/QD-TCCB of the Minister of Industry, Petroleum Products and Additives Development Company (APP) was established on the basis of separating the Petroleum Additives Center from the Institute of Chemistry. Industrial Studies.
- On August 19, 2003, according to Decision No. 133/QD-BCN of the Minister of Industry, the Company converted to operate under the model of a joint stock company, with the State holding the controlling stake (51%). And since the beginning of 2006 until now, implementing the policy of continuing to sell shares of the State, the Company has switched to operating under the model of a State Joint Stock Company that does not hold controlling shares - an affiliated company.
- APP Company is listed on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) according to Stock Listing Decision No.: 688/QD-SGDHN issued by the General Director of Hanoi Stock Exchange on September 28, 2010 and officially conducted the first trading session on October 5, 2010.
- After 18 years of development and growth, up to now Additives and Petroleum Products Development Joint Stock Company (APP) has become a strong production and business company in the lubricants and specialized fluids industry with the main function of: Producing and trading products lubricating and preserving greases, brake fluids and hydraulic fluids; products of petroleum and chemical origin; specialized fluids and new materials to serve industry, consumption and national security and defense, and especially investing in other important fields to transform structure and expand production and business scale, striving to become a leading company in these fields in Vietnam.
- At the time of establishment, from a small research unit subsidized by the state to production and business activities, APP Company encountered many difficulties and challenges. Without land fund and infrastructure, with limited capital, APP had to rent an office and have to do business and gradually build a base.
- Up to now, APP Company has modern factories and workshops in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, with a capacity of over 16,500 tons/year/one shift, APP is capable of supplying over 150 product types belonging to the following groups: Lubricating oils, greases, additives, chemicals, brake fluid, emulsion oils of all kinds, detergents, coolants, new materials... serving the transportation industry, electricity industry, mining, industrial and chemical plants...
- APP has a team of officers, engineers, experts, and employees, many of whom have been trained and worked abroad, with in-depth knowledge and experience. During its operation, APP always values and considers credibility with customers as the most important factor. Up to now, APP has built its reputation and brand in the market, respected and appreciated by domestic and foreign customers, placing their trust in establishing business cooperation relationships in fields of mutual interest.
