Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- Saigon Seafood Trading Joint Stock Company (APT) was established by equitizing the State-owned Seafood Trading Company according to Decision No. 2399/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City dated May 26, 2006 on approving the plan and converting the Seafood Trading Company into Saigon Seafood Trading Joint Stock Company. (APT Company). APT Company officially operates as a Joint Stock Company from January 1, 2007 according to Business Registration Certificate No. 4103005759 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City on December 20, 2006.
- On November 25, 2006, Saigon Seafood Trading Joint Stock Company successfully organized the General Meeting of Shareholders.
- On June 13, 2007, Saigon Seafood Trading Joint Stock Company was approved by the State Securities Commission (SSC) to register as a public company.
- On November 21, 2008, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City approved the policy for Saigon Seafood Trading Joint Stock Company to further auction the State capital of 36.68%/Charter Capital (Charter Capital) and only retain the State capital according to the original plan of 30%/Charter Capital. Based on the Minutes of determining the auction results dated August 27, 2009 of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, Saigon Trading Corporation has completed the auction of 36.68%/charter capital of the State capital at the Company.
- On July 12, 2011, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued Notice No. 477/TB-VP concluding a comprehensive inspection of issues related to production and business operations and organizational management of Saigon Seafood Trading Joint Stock Company. Thereby, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City agreed to follow the proposal of Saigon Trading Corporation, choosing a plan to restructure its organization and operations to help Saigon Seafood Trading Joint Stock Company recover, maintain operations, create jobs for workers and have conditions to pay debts.
- On July 31, 2018, the Company was granted Securities Registration Certificate No. 62/2018/GCNCP-VSD by the Vietnam Securities Depository Center (VSD), with a total number of registered shares of 8,800,000 shares.
