Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- 1966: Bich Chi Powder Factory was established. The traditional Bich Chi brand was built in the 60s of the last century in Sa Dec (Dong Thap province) with an abundant, high-quality rice area with a famous history of hundreds of years.
- 1977: Bich Chi Powder Factory was recognized by the Ministry of Food as a state-owned factory under the Southern Coffee Milk Company
- In 1986: Bich Chi Powder Factory was handed over to the People's Committee of Dong Thap Province to manage. Acceptance Decision No. 05/TCCB dated January 28, 1986 of the People's Committee of Dong Thap Province.
- In 1997: Bich Chi Powder Factory changed its name to Bich Chi Dong Thap Food Company according to Decision No. 64/QD.UB.TL dated May 13, 1997 of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee.
- Year 2000: Bich Chi Food Company was equitized according to Decision No. 968/QD.UB.HC dated October 18, 2000 of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee and officially transformed into Bich Chi Food Joint Stock Company
- In 2003: The company built a factory specializing in the production of shrimp chips, with a capacity of 2,500 tons/year (put into operation since 2007).
- From 2004 to 2009: To improve its financial position, the Company continuously increased its capital scale by offering additional shares to existing shareholders to increase capital from VND 3,284 billion to VND 20.02 billion.
- 2010: The company was approved by the State Securities Commission to become a public company from January 3, 2010.
- From 2010 to 2019: With the Company's production and business activities achieving positive results, the Company's charter capital increased from 20.02 billion VND to 183.34 billion VND.
