- Becamex Investment and Industrial Development Corporation (Becamex) IDC Corp.), formerly known as Ben Cat General Trading Company (Becamex), was established in 1976 with the main function of purchasing and processing agricultural products and distributing consumer goods...
- In 1992, with the consent of the People's Committee of Song Be Province (formerly), Ben Cat General Trading Company merged with Provincial companies take the official name of Song Be Provincial Trading - Import-Export Company (Becamex) on the basis of taking Ben Cat General Trading Company as the core with more diverse and broader functions and scope of operations.
- After Binh Duong province was divided and re-established from Song Be province (old) in 1997, in order to suit the new trend and to express With its wide field of operations, in 1999 the company officially changed its name to Trading - Investment and Development Company (transaction name BECAMEX Corp.)
- April 28, 2006, according to decision No. 106/2006/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Binh province Duong, Industrial Investment and Development Company (Becamex IDC Corp.) was established on the basis of arranging and reorganizing the activities of Investment and Development Trading Company (Becamex)
- In the context of international economic integration, in order to create more favorable and flexible conditions for company operations, with the consent of the Prime Minister at work Document No. 151/TTg-DMDN dated January 19, 2010, Becamex IDC Investment and Industrial Development Company transformed into Industrial Investment and Development Corporation operating in the form of parent company - subsidiary. In which the parent company is a one-member limited liability company.
- In the Timeline of Establishment & Development, to increase competitiveness, the Corporation has merged, invested and established member companies. To date, the company has 28 member companies operating in the fields of securities, finance, insurance, banking, construction, trade, real estate, services, telecommunications - information technology, concrete production, construction materials, mineral exploitation, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and education.
