Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- Hanoi - Kim Bai Beer Joint Stock Company was formerly known as Kim Bai Beer Joint Stock Company. To get today's results and position is a long process of dedication of the Company's staff.
- In 1960, the Company was a food preservation facility belonging to Ha Dong Provincial Food Company.
- In 1978, the Company was a rice mill with large capacity providing rice to beneficiaries of the food allocation regime of Ha Son Binh Province, especially the Hoa Binh hydroelectric project.
- In 1987, the Company changed its name to Thanh Oai General Food Processing and Trading Enterprise. Besides rice milling, the enterprise also invested in machinery and equipment to produce animal feed, press bran oil, make bran soap...
- In 1990, the State abolished food subsidies, the rice milling and food processing system was no longer suitable for the market mechanism. Facing the possibility of liquidation, hundreds of workers lost their jobs, the Enterprise boldly borrowed capital to invest in a beer production line under the Kim Bai Beer brand with a capacity of 2,000. liters/day, equipment and production technology provided by the Vietnam Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Food Technology. In 1997, the Enterprise was handed over to Ha Tay Department of Industry for management and changed its name to Ha Tay Food Processing and Trading Company.
- On October 15, 2004, the People's Committee of Ha Tay province issued a Decision approving the plan to equitize the state-owned enterprise Ha Tay Food Processing and Trading Company into a joint stock company. In 2004, the Company equitized state-owned enterprises, sold all state capital to the Company's officers and employees and changed its name to Kim Bai Beer Joint Stock Company with charter capital at the time of equitization of 8,000,000,000 VND according to Business Registration Certificate No. 0303000331 issued for the first time by the Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi City on the same day. December 2, 2004.
- From 2008 to present, the Company was restructured its charter capital by Hanoi Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Joint Stock Corporation and changed its name to Hanoi Beer - Kim Bai Joint Stock Company. The company has been a member unit of Hanoi Beer Alcohol and Beverage Joint Stock Corporation since then.
- Vietnam Securities Depository Center issued Depository Registration Certificate No. 225/2017/GCNCP-VSD dated December 12, 2017 for 3,986,000 shares of Hanoi Beer Joint Stock Company - Kim Bai with stock code BHK.
