Hanoi - Hai Phong Beer Joint Stock Company, formerly Viet Hoa Ice Enterprise, was established on June 15, 1960 according to decision No. 150/QDUB of Hai Phong City's UBHC in the form of a joint venture company.

- In 1978, Viet Hoa Ice Factory was renamed Hai Phong Soft Drink Factory.

- In 1990, Hai Phong Soft Drink Factory was renamed Hai Phong Soft Drink Brewery.

- In 1993, Hai Phong City People's Committee decided to change the name of Hai Phong freshwater brewery to Hai Phong Brewery (Decision No. 81/QD-TCCQ dated January 14, 1993).

- In 1995, implementing the policy of reforming state-owned enterprises, the People's Committee of Hai Phong city decided to change the name of Hai Phong Brewery to Hai Phong Beer Company (Decision No. 1655 QD/DMDN dated October 4, 1995).

- On September 23, 2004, Hai Phong City People's Committee issued Decision No. 2519/QDUB converting Hai Phong Beer Company, a State-owned enterprise, into Hai Phong Beer Joint Stock Company. Hai Phong Beer Joint Stock Company was established with a charter capital of 25,500,200,000 VND, with the capital ratio of state shareholders being 65%, the capital of shareholders within the enterprise being 29.5%, the capital of shareholders outside the enterprise being 5.5%. Hai Phong Beer Joint Stock Company officially operates as a Joint Stock Company according to Business Registration Certificate No. 0203001024 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Hai Phong City on September 20, 2004.

- In October 2005, Hai Phong City People's Committee agreed to transfer the State capital in Hai Phong Beer Joint Stock Company to Hanoi Beer - Wine - Beverage Corporation (according to notice No. 4510/UBND-KHTH, dated August 24, 2005) and the Board of Directors of Hanoi Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation agreed. agreed to receive the transfer of state capital at Hai Phong Beer Joint Stock Company (No. 45/QD-TCKT dated September 6, 2005). Hai Phong Beer Joint Stock Company joined Hanoi Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation to operate under the Parent Company - Subsidiary model.

- According to the Resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Hai Phong Beer Joint Stock Company meeting on October 23, 2005: Hai Phong Beer Joint Stock Company was renamed Hanoi - Hai Phong Beer Joint Stock Company, with a charter capital of 25,500,200,000 VND, of which the capital ratio of state shareholders is held by the Beer - Alcohol Corporation - Hanoi Beverage holds 65%, the capital of shareholders in the enterprise is 29.5%, the capital of shareholders outside the enterprise is 5.5%.
