Hanoi - Quang Binh Beer Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Quang Binh Beer and Wine Factory, was established on January 1, 1990.
The factory was converted from a State-owned enterprise to a Joint Stock Company on November 10, 2003 according to Decision No. 59/QD-UB of the Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee.
In August 2004, Quang Binh Beer and Alcohol Joint Stock Company changed its name to Hanoi - Quang Binh Beer Joint Stock Company after the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Industry agreed for Quang Binh Beer and Alcohol Joint Stock Company to become a subsidiary of Hanoi Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation.
