Central Plant Protection Joint Stock Company No. 1 (PSC.1) was formed and developed through many different stages associated with the development of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The company was equitized from Plant Protection Materials Company 1 according to Decision No. 3112 QD/BNN-DMDN dated November 10, 2005 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Plant protection materials company 1 was established under Decision No. 403/NN/TCCB/QD dated November 26, 1985 of the Ministry of Agriculture. Through more than 24 years of growth and development, Central Plant Protection Joint Stock Company 1 has become the leading enterprise in Vietnam in supplying plant protection drugs. With the main motto: “ Together with farmers across the country, strive for a Vietnamese agriculture South clean and sustainable, for the prosperity and happiness of every home. For many years, the Company's products have always been trusted and used by farmers all over the country. Timeline of Establishment & Development:

Year 1985 - 1991:

· Plant protection materials company 1 was established under Decision No. 403QD/BNN-TCCB dated October 26, 1985 of the Ministry of Agriculture. At this stage, the Company belongs to the Plant Protection Department and has three branches:

· Plant protection supplies branch 1 closes in Da Nang.

· Plant protection materials branch 2 is located in the city. HCM. Later, it was separated to become Plant Protection Material Company 2 under the Plant Protection Department.

· Plant protection materials branch 3 is located in Hai Phong.

Year 1992:

· On June 18, 1992, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issued Decision No. 163/NN/TCCB/QD to separate Plant Protection Materials Company 1 under the Plant Protection Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Year 1993 - 2003:

January 6, 1993 Minister of Agriculture and Food Technology (now the Ministry of Agriculture and Development rural areas) issued Decision No. 08 NN - TCCB/QD dated January 6, 1993 to establish a state-owned enterprise: Plant Protection Materials Company 1;

· Da Nang Plant Protection Materials Branch 1

· Hai Phong Plant Protection Materials Branch 3

· Branch of Plant Protection Materials Company 1 in Thanh Hoa

· Branch of Plant Protection Materials Company 1 in Ha Tinh

· Branch of Plant Protection Materials Company 1 in City. Ho Chi Minh

· Branch of Plant Protection Materials Company 1 in Hung Yen.

Year 2004:

On February 24, 2004, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development issued Decision No. 415/QD/BNN-TCCB allows Plant Protection Materials Company 1 to equitize the enterprise according to Decree No. 64/2002/ND-CP dated June 10, 2002 of the Government on converting state-owned enterprises into joint stock companies.

Year 2005:

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development issued Decision No. 3112 QD/BNN-DMDN dated October 10 November 2005 on converting Plant Protection Material Company 1 into Central Plant Protection Joint Stock Company 1.

2006 to present:

After equitization, Plant Protection Joint Stock Company 1 - Central has developed continuously. Currently, with 11 Branches and 6 Sales Teams, the Company has established a distribution system spanning across the country.
