Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- Hanoi Electrical Materials and Transformer Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, formerly known as the Transformer Manufacturing Factory under Vietnam Electrical Equipment Corporation, was established in 1963 at Facility No. 10 Tran Nguyen Han, Hanoi.
- In 1983, the insulating materials workshop of the Steel Fabrication Factory was separated to establish the Insulating Materials Factory. By 2003, the Insulating Materials Factory was equitized and renamed Hanoi Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company
- In 1994, the Transformer Manufacturing Factory entered into a joint venture with ABB Group (Asia Pacific Division - the world's largest corporation in the field of electrical equipment) to establish the Transformer Manufacturing Joint Venture Company - ABB.
- After establishing the Transformer Manufacturing Joint Venture Company - ABB, following the State's policy of allowing foreign companies to invest 100% capital in Vietnam, in January 1999, the Transformer Manufacturing Factory was separated from the joint venture company and operated independently again. However, it was not until May 2002 that the new transformer manufacturing factory withdrew and completed the procedures to transfer all of its capital to the joint venture partner, ABB Company Limited
- In March 2005, implementing the State's policy, the Transformer Manufacturing Factory was equitized and named Hanoi Fabrication Joint Stock Company.
- In September 2005, Hanoi Electrical Materials and Transformer Manufacturing Joint Stock Company was established on the basis of the merger of Hanoi Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Transformer Processing Joint Stock Company according to Decision No. 105/QD-HĐQT (iv) April 25, 2005 of the Electrical Technical Equipment Corporation. The company operates under business registration certificate No. 0103009203 dated September 28, 2005 issued by Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment with charter capital of: 23,464,450,000 VND.
- On December 27, 2007, Vietnam Securities Depository Center (VSD) issued securities registration certificate No. 35/GCN-TTGDHN, the number of registered shares is 3,000,000 shares
- On December 3, 2010, the Securities Depository Center (VSD) issued the first additional registration certificate, with the registered quantity being 3,500,000 shares.
- On December 6, 2010, Hanoi Stock Exchange issued Decision No. 931/QD- SGDHN on approving the listing of 3,500,000 BTH shares
- On April 10, 2015, Hanoi Stock Exchange issued Decision No. 196/QD- SGDHN on delisting BTH shares due to being exposed for 3 consecutive years from 2012 to 2014. The company officially delisted from May 7, 2015.
