Establishment History:
- March 6, 2000: Bac Viet Steel Company Limited was established with three members headquartered at 4 Tran Hung Dao, Hanoi. 2,000 m2 factory in Duc Giang, Long Bien, Hanoi.
- In 2002: The company expanded production by building an additional factory adjacent to the old factory with an area of 2,000 m2, invested in an automatic purlin rolling machine, and began producing a number of high-quality mechanical goods.
- 2004: Bac Viet Steel Company received ISO 9001:2000 certificate in applying high and scientific management technology according to international standards.
- July 2004: Announcement of steel quality according to JIS G 3101 Japanese industrial standard for rolled steel for general structures received by Hanoi Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality.
- November 2004: Certified by the Intellectual Property Office to register the trademark BACVIET STEEL and company logo for construction steel products, hot-rolled steel, iron, steel, steel structures, steel purlins, metal roofing sheets. Especially in 2004, the Company received an investment license to build a factory in Que Vo industrial park, Bac Ninh with a total area of nearly 15,000 m2, creating a breakthrough for the enterprise's production and business expansion strategy.
- Year 2005: The company won the 2005 Vietnam Gold Star Award. Bac Viet Steel Structure Co., Ltd. was the first subsidiary established with 100% investment capital in Bac Ninh, built into a modern factory producing steel structures, prefabricated steel buildings and became a key product industry bearing the legendary brand - DAMSAN.
- April 2005: Bac Viet Trading Joint Stock Company was born to trade and distribute goods and began operating under a group company model, creating a premise for development under the mother-son model.
- March 2007: Prefabricated steel building brand DAMSAN was officially granted a trademark protection certificate by the Intellectual Property Department,
- June 20, 2008: Bac Viet Steel Joint Stock Company - BVG was established through conversion from Bac Viet Steel Company Limited;
- 2010: Bac Viet Steel Joint Stock Company officially became a public company
- July 30, 2010: The company was approved to list 9,750,948 shares at the Hanoi Stock Exchange - stock code BVG (Security registration certificate No.: 188/2012/GCNCP - VSD dated July 29, 2012)
- August 9, 2010: 9,750,948 BVG shares officially listed at the Hanoi Stock Exchange, making Bac Viet Steel a listed public company after 10 years of formation and development.
- October 23, 2013: BVG was granted an investment license to establish a joint venture company with 4 partners who are large Japanese corporations including NIPPON STEEL & SUMIKIN METAL PRODUCT, SUMITOMO CORP, KYOEI STEEL, SUMISHO HANDBAI to establish a joint venture company named NIPPON STEEL & SUMIKIN METAL PRODUCT VIETNAM (NSMV) produces steel pipes and construction mechanical products, traffic mechanical products for export.
- December 31, 2016: The company changed its name to BVG Investment Joint Stock Company, moved its headquarters to 53 Quang Trung, Nguyen Du, Hanoi, changed and supplemented business lines, carried out a breakthrough financial restructuring through divestment, reducing the shareholding ratio in subsidiaries and affiliated companies. joint ventures, liquidation of ineffective assets, concentration of money to repay bank loan principal, reduction of financial costs, restructuring of overdue debts.
