Formation and development process

Vicem Packaging Joint Stock Company Hai Phong, formerly known as Hai Phong Cement Packaging Enterprise (belonging to Hai Phong Cement Company). The company is the leading unit in the production conversion program of Hai Phong Cement Company according to the policy of industrialization - modernization.
Pursuant to Decree No. 64/2002/NDCP dated June 19, 2002 of the Government on "transforming State-owned enterprises into joint stock companies" and documents guiding the implementation of Decree 64/2002 of relevant ministries and branches; Pursuant to Decision No. 908/XMVN-HĐQT dated June 10, 2002 of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Cement Corporation.
After a period of urgently carrying out procedures, Vicem Packaging Hai Phong Joint Stock Company officially went into operation on October 1, 2004 according to Decision No. 1222/QD-BXD of the Ministry of Construction.
January 7, 2008 The company was approved by the State Securities Commission as a public company. In 2009, the Company registered to list on the Hanoi Stock Exchange and on November 25, 2009, the Company's shares were officially traded on the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
