Formation history:
- Cu Chi Trading Company was established under Decision No. 21/QD-UB dated September 29, 1992 of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on the basis of merging 2 companies: Materials Company and General Trading Company and adding the functions of the Production, Business and Export Union (CIMEX). Trading Company Cu Chi Trading is a company operating in the form of a state-owned enterprise.
- According to the State's policy of converting a number of state-owned enterprises into joint stock companies, on May 31, 2002, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City issued Decision No. 2302/QD-UB converting the state-owned enterprise Cu Chi Trading Company into Cu Chi Industry and Trade Investment and Development Joint Stock Company. Spending with a charter capital of 15 billion VND.
- Since equitization, the Company has increased its charter capital 3 times from 15 billion VND to 90 billion VND in October 2009.
- In 2007, the Company increased its charter capital to 60,000,000,000 VND.
- In 2009, the Company increased its charter capital to 90,000,000,000 VND.
- In 2012, the Company increased its charter capital to 133,986,200,000 VND.
- In 2013, the Company was awarded a certificate of merit by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for its outstanding achievements in production and business activities at the Export Processing Zone - Industrial Park in the city for many consecutive years (2010 - 2013), actively contributing to the construction and development of the City.
