Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- Vietnam Porcelain and Glass Import-Export Company was established under Decision No. 871/CNN-TCCB dated August 14, 1993 of the Ministry of Industry. When established, the company's mission was to do import-export business specializing in ceramics and glass and research and apply scientific research to life;
- In 1999, the Company was awarded the third-class Labor Medal by the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
- Vietnam Porcelain and Glass Import-Export Company changed its name to Vietnam Porcelain and Glass Company according to the Decision issued by the Ministry of Industry on April 1, 2003;
- Vietnam Ceramic and Glass Company transformed into Vietnam Ceramic and Glass State Limited Company according to Decision No. 133/2004/QD-BCN dated November 16, 2004;
- In 2006, the Company was equitized into Vietnam Ceramics and Glass Joint Stock Company. The company officially operated as a Joint Stock Company on December 26, 2006 with a charter capital of 25,000,000,000 VND;
- Since 2014, the Board of Directors of Vinaceglass has been focusing on directing the Board of Directors to develop Vinaceglass in a sustainable direction.
Capital raising process:
- In 2006, charter capital at the time of equitization was 25,000,000,000 VND;
- In 2007, shares were issued twice to existing shareholders, charter capital after issuance was 50,000,000,000 VND;
- In 2011, issued common shares to existing shareholders, charter capital after increase was 94,999,560,000 VND.
