The process of formation and development:
- The predecessor of today's An Giang Mechanical Joint Stock Company is Provincial Mechanical Xi Nghiep.
- September 4, 1976. Provincial Mechanical Enterprise was established under decision No. 117/QB of the People's Committee of An Giang province, with initial facilities and equipment including all assets of An Giang Provincial Technical School built and equipped by the former Saigon regime since 1966.
- On November 21, 1992, An Giang Mechanical Enterprise was re-established under Decree No. 388/HDBT of the Council of Ministers on the basis of merging District and Town Mechanical Enterprises to form An Giang Mechanical Enterprise.
- On April 20, 1999, An Giang Mechanical Enterprise was renamed An Giang Mechanical Company according to decision No. 764/QDUB of the People's Committee of An Giang Province and continues to operate until today.
- March 8, 2007. The People's Committee of An Giang province has decision No. 684/QDUBND on approving the plan to convert An Giang Mechanical Company into a joint stock company.
- On May 29, 2007, An Giang Provincial People's Committee issued decision No. 1418/QD-UBND on transferring An Giang Mechanical Company to become a member of Power and Agricultural Machinery Corporation.
- On May 29, 2007, the Board of Directors of Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation issued Decision No. 17/MDL-NN/QD-HĐQT on accepting An Giang Engine Company as a member of Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation.
- On November 10, 2007, the General Meeting of Shareholders was successfully organized.
- On December 7, 2007, An Giang Mechanical Company was converted into An Giang Mechanical Joint Stock Company according to Business Registration Certificate No. 5203000080 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of An Giang province, first registered on December 7, 2007 with charter capital of 19,427,170,000 VND; issued the 8th change on June 7, 2017 with charter capital of 32,864,040,000 VND.
- On January 29, 2018, the Company became a public company according to Official Dispatch No. 724/UBCK- GSĐC of the State Securities Commission.
- June 12, 2018. The company was granted Securities Registration Certificate No. 42/2018/GCNCP-VSD by the Vietnam Securities Depository Center (VSD) with a total number of registered shares of 3,286,404 shares.
