Timeline of Establishment & Development
- La Hien VVMI Cement Joint Stock Company, formerly known as La Hien Cement Factory, was established under Decision No. 925/NL-TCCB dated December 31, 1994 of the Ministry of Energy (now the Ministry of Industry and Trade), and is a dependent accounting unit (Domestic Coal Company) the predecessor of the Company. Viet Bac Mining Industry LLC - TKV belongs to Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group.
- On December 18, 2006, the Minister of Industry (now the Ministry of Industry and Trade) issued Decision No. 3676/QD-BCN on the equitization of La Hien Cement Factory.
- On September 19, 2007, the Board of Directors of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group issued Decision No. 2228/QD-HĐQT on approving the plan and converting VVMI La Hien Cement Factory into a Joint Stock Company.
- November 15, 2007: Organized the initial public offering of shares at the Hanoi Stock Exchange
- January 1, 2008: VVMI La Hien Cement Joint Stock Company officially converted into a Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of 100 billion VND
- Year 2008: The company was approved by the State Securities Commission for public company registration.
- June 16, 2010: Handed over the project "Investment to expand and increase the capacity of La Hien Cement Factory" into operation with a total settled investment of 626,755 million VND.
- March 18, 2016: The company was granted a Securities Registration Certificate by the Vietnam Securities Depository Center

- The company sells to over 300 product stores and distributors, in addition to selling directly to consumers.
- The Company's product consumption market is mainly in the Northern region including the provinces: Thai Nguyen, Bac Can, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang... and units in the Vietnam Coal-Mineral Industry Group.
Product
- Currently the Company is producing mixed Portland cement products PCB 30, PCB 40, commercial Portland Clanke Cpc 40, Cpc 50, Cpc 60 with the most advanced dry method rotary kiln technology today.
- Lahien's cement products have been certified by the Center for Standard Conformity with the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality, and issued a certificate of conformity with TCVN 6260: 1997 standards.
- The company is applying the ISO: 9001 – 2000 quality management system and is continuing to build the ISO: 9001 – 2008 and 14000 quality management system.
