- Mao Khe Mechanical Joint Stock Company - Vinacomin is a member enterprise of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group, established on February 27, 1982 with the name Mao Khe Mechanical Factory, a member unit of Uong Bi Coal Company
- On December 30, 2004, Mao Khe Mechanical Factory was transformed into Mao Khe Mechanical Joint Stock Company
- In July 2007, Mao Khe Mechanical Joint Stock Company became a subsidiary of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group with the name Mao Khe Mechanical Joint Stock Company - TKV
- In April 2011, Mao Khe Mechanical Joint Stock Company - TKV changed its name to Mao Khe Mechanical Joint Stock Company - Vinacomin
- On September 22, 2015, the company's shares were approved to register for trading on Upcom with the stock code CMK.

Year 2010: increased charter capital to 11,938,920,000 through paying dividends in shares, at the rate 22%.
