Establishment History:
- In 1976: Southern Rubber Industry Company was established under decision No. 427-HC/QD dated April 19, 1976 by the State of Vietnam. Initially, it produced bicycle tires, tubes, technical rubber, foam mattresses...
- On May 22, 1993, Southern Rubber Industry Company is an independently accounted State-owned enterprise and a member of Vietnam Chemical Corporation (Vinachem) established under Decision No. 264/TCNHDT of the Ministry of Heavy Industry (now the Ministry of Industry and Trade).
- On October 10, 2005, according to Decision No. 3240/QD-BCN of the Ministry of Industry, Southern Rubber Industry Company was transformed into Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company.
- Year 2006: Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company officially went into operation with an initial charter capital of 90 billion VND according to business registration certificate No. 4103004392 dated March 1, 2006 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of the City. Granted by Ho Chi Minh.
- In 2008, honorably selected as one of 30 brands participating in the program "Vietnam National Brand"
- In 2009, Officially listed on Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange in August 2009 with charter capital of 250 billion VND. With the transaction code CSM "Brand
- In 2010, increased charter capital to 422.5 billion VND. Signed a contract to transfer Radial all-steel tire technology and improve Bias tire quality with Qingdao Gaoce Company - China. Signed a strategic business cooperation contract with Ba Dinh Investment and Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company on the project of Office Building at 180 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai.
- In 2011, CSM received the Third Class Independence Medal awarded by the Party and State. Increased charter capital to 522.5 billion VND.
- In 2012, High quality Vietnamese products, top 20 seed brands. Honored to receive the Government's Emulation Flag, voted as one of 25 typical enterprises achieving National Brand for 6 consecutive years. The company was awarded by Vietnam Chemical Group as one of the five units with the highest revenue and most effective production and business activities in 2012. Increased charter capital to 585 billion VND.
- In 2013, increased charter capital to 672.93 billion VND
- 2014: Inaugurated and put into operation the Radial tire factory.
- 2015: Increase charter capital to 740 billion VND, Research and develop tire project
