Establishment History:
- Southern Basic Chemical Company was established on July 21, 1976 according to Decision No. 240/HC of the General Department of Chemicals.
- Period from 1976-1985: established on the basis of merging 6 units located in many different areas, focusing all efforts to maintain stable production to serve the urgent needs of the economy according to the ordinances of the State water.
- Period from 1986-1996: On February 13, 1993, the Ministry of Heavy Industry issued Decision No. 64/CNNg/TC on the re-establishment of the Southern Basic Chemical Company and its affiliated units. Investment in technological innovation in the Company The company was deployed, production achieved relatively good efficiency, and workers' lives were increasingly improved.
- Period from 1996-2006: the transformation of Southern Basic Chemical Company into a single-member limited liability company under Vietnam Chemical Corporation - now Vietnam Chemical Group. The government recognized it as a class I state-owned enterprise from January 1, 2001. The average growth rate during this period is 15%/year.
- Period from 2006 - 2013 : On August 20, 2012 Vietnam Chemical Group issued a Decision No. 243/QD-HCVN on the equitization of Southern Basic Chemicals Company Limited, taking the time to determine enterprise value as 0:00 on October 1, 2012. Pursuant to Decision No. 248/QD-HCVN dated July 28, 2013 of Vietnam Chemical Group on approving the plan and converting Southern Basic Chemicals Company Limited into a joint stock company, the Company has carried out the equitization and completed the organization of the Shareholders' Meeting to establish and officially operate in the form of a Joint Stock Company according to the Business Registration Certificate No. 0301446260 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment. Ho Chi Minh City Capital issued the 8th amendment on January 2, 2014 with a charter capital of 442 billion VND.
- Period 2014 - present: Since equitization, the Company has entered a period of stable development. This is the time for the Company to quickly promote investment in new machinery and equipment, expand factories... to prepare for the next stage of development when the country's economy deeply integrates, promoting full capacity to meet market demand.
Achievements:
- First-class Labor Medal awarded by the President (Decision No. 791-QD/CTN dated April 25, 2016) for achievements excellent work from 2011-2015, contributing to the cause of building socialism and protecting the Fatherland;
- Certificate of Merit from Vietnam Chemical Group (Decision No. 10-QD/HCVN dated January 14, 2016) for outstanding achievements in the 90-day water emulation movement withdrawn at the end of 2015 to exceed the production and business plan for 2015 (Second Prize);
- The emulation flag of the Industry and Trade Union (Decision No. 01-QD/CDCT dated January 4, 2016) has had outstanding achievements in the movement of good labor emulation and build a strong trade union organization.
