Establishment History:
- The Company's predecessor was the road overhaul team of the General Department of Vietnam Railways established in March 1956.
- In 1960, the Road Overhaul Team was renamed Road Team, in 1966 it was changed to Branch 6 and in 1971 it was renamed Road Company 6.
- Implementing the 8th Central Resolution Resolution 8 on the reform of State-owned enterprises, decisions of the Government and the Ministry of Transport, the Company has carried out equitization. Construction Joint Stock Company 6 was established under Decision 4446/2002 QD-BGTVT dated December 31, 2002 of the Minister of Transport on ''Converting the State-owned enterprise Construction Company 6, directly under the Vietnam Railway Union, into a joint stock company''. Construction Joint Stock Company 6 operates under the Enterprise Law from October 1, 2003, the Company was granted First Registration by the Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi City on September 29, 2003, 4th Change Registration on January 14, 2008.
On July 6, 2010, Construction Joint Stock Company 6 was approved by the Hanoi Stock Exchange to list an additional volume of shares issued to pay annual dividends. 2009 is 739,568 shares.
On June 1, 2011, Construction Joint Stock Company 6 was approved by the Hanoi Stock Exchange to list an additional volume of shares issued to pay annual dividends. 2010 is 931,109 shares. Bringing the total number of shares of the company listed on the Hanoi stock market to 6,108,078 shares, equivalent to a value of 61,080,780,000 VND.
On March 10, 2016, Construction Joint Stock Company 6 held a ceremony to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the company's founding and received the Independence Medal from the Republic of Vietnam. Socialist Vietnam awarded to the company.
