Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- Construction Enterprise under the Military Electronics and Telecommunications Company, the predecessor of Viettel Construction Joint Stock Company, was established on October 30, 1995.
- On September 30, 2003, the Technical Service Center merged with the Construction Enterprise and was named the Construction Enterprise.
- On April 6, 2005, the Ministry of National Defense issued Decision No. 45/2005QD-BQP on the establishment of the Military Telecommunications Corporation. Construction Enterprise changed its name to Viettel Construction Company.
- In April 2006, the Military Telecommunications Corporation decided to change the Company's form of operation from a dependent accounting company to an independent accounting company with a new transaction name: Viettel Construction One Member State Company Limited.
- On January 15, 2010, the Minister of National Defense issued Decision No. 135/QD-BQP on converting Viettel Construction One Member State Limited Company into Viettel Construction Joint Stock Company.
- On April 8, 2010, the Company conducted an initial public offering (IPO) auction at the Hanoi Stock Exchange Center.
- On June 9, 2010, the company officially transformed into a Joint Stock Company according to Business Registration Certificate No. 0104753865 issued by the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment for the first time on June 9, 2010, with a charter capital of 238,000,000,000 VND (of which Viettel Group's capital is 171,500,000,000 VND, accounting for 72% of charter capital).
- In April 2017, the Company officially expanded its business line to service: operation and exploitation services (VHKT) of the entire telecommunications network infrastructure of Viettel Group in the country (62 provinces/cities nationwide).
- Currently, the Company operates under the Business Registration Certificate No. 0104753865 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi City for the first time on June 9, 2010, registered for the 7th change on August 18, 2017 with charter capital 471,233,410,000 VND.
