Establishment Timeline, development
The Company's predecessor was Cam Pha Central Mechanical Factory, established on July 23, 1968 under Decision No. 739 QD/KB2 dated July 23, 1968 of the Minister of Heavy Industry. According to Notice No. 143/TB dated May 5, 1993 of the Government Office on the re-establishment of the Mining Mechanical Company, the Ministry of Energy issued Decision No. 468 NL/TCCB-LD dated June 30, 1993 on the re-establishment of the Cam Pha Central Mechanical Factory under the Mining Mechanical Company.
After merging back into Vietnam Coal Corporation according to Decision No. 28/2001/QD-BCN dated May 23, 2001 of the Ministry of Industry, on May 12, 2004, the Company was renamed Vietnam Coal Machinery Manufacturing Company Limited. The company was equitized from a State-owned enterprise according to Decision No. 3675/QD-BCN dated December 19, 2006 of the Ministry of Industry. The Company held a General Meeting of Shareholders to establish the Company on February 28, 2008 and was granted an official Business Registration Certificate and began operating in March 2008.
On April 12, 2009, the Company completed public company registration procedures with the State Securities Commission.
Main business activities
The company is currently operating mainly in the following two areas:
- Mechanical production: repairing all types of technological equipment of open pit mines, underground mines, screening plants, transportation equipment; manufacturing spare parts or spare parts assemblies to replace and manufacturing some types of equipment for coal mining, screening and transportation.
- Other production and services: including do-it-yourself basic construction and construction materials, trading of materials and equipment, production of Oxygen and Nitrogen gas
