Establishment History:
- Constrexim Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company No. 8 was established from the equitization of the State-owned Construction Company No. 8, a member of Vietnam Construction Investment and Import-Export Company - Constrexim Holdings (now Vietnam Construction Investment and Trade Joint Stock Corporation) according to Decision Decision No. 2261/QD-BXD dated December 8, 2005 of the Minister of Construction.
- The Company's predecessor was Construction Enterprise No. 9 established under Decision No. 893/QD-BXD of the Ministry of Construction. Through the process of construction and development, the unit has achieved strong growth, so the unit was reorganized into Construction Company No. 8 (Constrexim 8) on the basis of merging Construction Enterprise No. 9 and Construction Enterprise No. 8 according to Decision No. 620/MC-TCHC dated October 20, 2003 of the General Director of Vietnam Import-Export and Construction Investment Company.
- When converting from a State-owned company to a Joint Stock Company, the Company's charter capital is 5,568,000,000 copper. In 2007, the Company conducted two private share offerings (under 100 investors) according to the resolution of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders dated January 20, 2007 and the resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders dated October 27, 2007 to increase the Company's charter capital from 5,568,000,000 VND to 9,568,000,000 VND.
