Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- In February 1967, the Ministry of Light Industry decided to establish X-2 Garment Factory as the second garment factory serving National Defense in Yen Dung - Bac Giang with the main task of producing according to the army's battlefield service plan. After that, X-2 Garment Factory had to move its factory many times due to wars and floods. In March 1973, the factory was moved to Thi Cau - Bac Ninh and production and operation have been stable since then.
- Afterwards, X-2 Garment Factory was renamed Dap Cau Garment Factory (August 1978); Dap Cau Garment Company (January 1994). In 2004, Dap Cau Garment Company transformed into a joint stock company with the official name Dap Cau Garment Joint Stock Company according to Decision No. 109/2004/QD-BCN dated October 12, 2004 of the Ministry of Industry. On January 6, 2005, the Department of Planning and Investment of Bac Ninh province issued the first business registration certificate No. 2300102398 to Dap Cau Garment Joint Stock Company with a total charter capital of 10 billion VND.
- After 04 capital increases, on July 20, 2016, Dap Cau Garment Joint Stock Company changed its name to Dap Cau Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company with a total charter capital of 52.5 billion VND, of which the capital held by Vietnam Textile and Garment Group is 24.04%.
- Up to now, Dap Cau Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company has gone through 50 years of construction and development. Currently, Dap Cau Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company is one of the enterprises in the system of Vietnam Textile and Garment Group specializing in producing garments for export. The company has transformed itself into producing and trading domestic goods and goods under the cooperation agreement with the Russian Federation, then producing garments for export. Up to now, the Company mainly produces garments for export to the US, European, Korean, and Japanese markets....
- In May 2018, the Company carried out centralized depository registration at the Vietnam Securities Depository Center for shareholders in the company. On June 13, 2017, Vietnam Securities Depository Center issued Securities Registration Certificate No. 44/2018/GCNCP-VSD to Dap Cau Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company with a total deposit volume of 5,250,000 shares.
