Establishment History:
- Danang Port Logistics Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Da Nang Port Logistics Station, was established in 2006, with the mission of being the logistics unit of Da Nang Port.
- Following the policy of reforming state-owned enterprises and the development plan of the leaders of Da Nang Port Company Limited, Da Nang Port Logistics Joint Stock Company was established and was granted Business Registration Certificate No. 0400999731 by the Department of Planning and Investment of Da Nang City on March 5, 2009 six times. Adjusted business license, last change on November 23, 2015. Charter capital: 36 billion VND, of which, Da Nang Port Co., Ltd. accounts for 45.00% of charter capital.
- The birth of Danang Port Logistics Company is extremely necessary. In early 2009, Vietnam officially opened the Logistics sector as committed when participating in international integration. This is the time when the demand for logistics services grows strongly. According to statistics, currently, Logistics services account for a very large proportion of Vietnam's total GDP income, from 20 to 25%.
- Da Nang Port Logistics Joint Stock Company (Danalog) is located in Da Nang city, the economic center of the Central region, an important traffic intersection in the country and regional countries. Located right on the East-West Economic Corridor and on the road leading to Tien Sa port, connecting to National Highway 14B. The transportation system connecting Danalog with Tien Sa port, Da Nang international airport, National Highway 1A, railway stations, and industrial parks is complete, creating favorable conditions for the transportation of goods by road, sea, air, rail and even oversized and super heavy goods. The birth of Da Nang Port Logistics Joint Stock Company aims to create a source of import and export goods for Da Nang port, attracting goods to the domestic market and the southern provinces of Laos and northeastern Thailand along the East-West economic corridor to Da Nang port.
