Establishment History:
- Dinh Vu Port Investment and Development Joint Stock Company was established under Decision No. 990/QD-TGD dated November 11, 2002 of the General Director of Vietnam Maritime Corporation
- December 19, 2002 The first General Meeting of Shareholders approved the Charter of organization and operation of the Company. On January 14, 2003, Dinh Vu Port Investment and Development Joint Stock Company officially came into operation. From 2002-2005, phase 1 was implemented to build the wharf system, warehouse system, yards, invest in equipment, recruit and train staff, and perfect the organizational apparatus to prepare for putting the Port into business and exploitation in 2005.
- On December 1, 2009, shares of Dinh Vu Port Investment and Development Joint Stock Company were officially listed at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange according to Decision No. 147/QD-SGDHCM dated November 24, 20092012 marked the sustainable development of Dinh Vu Port Investment and Development Company with significant achievements:
- Honored to receive the "Second Class Labor Medal for outstanding achievements in production and business" awarded by President Truong Tan Sang.
- Receive the Banner "10 years of construction, integration and development" from the People's Committee of Hai Phong city
- Received the award "Strong Dai Viet Brand 2012" organized by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, "Top 1000 Enterprises with the highest income tax in Vietnam" honored by Vietnam Tax Magazine and VNR Evaluation Joint Stock Company and "Top 500 Fastest Growing Enterprises in Vietnam" by Vietnamnet Newspaper and Joint Stock Company. VNR price honor.
- 8/2013 DVP changed the content regulations on corporate governance with the aim of achieving sustainable development. Increased investment capital in SITC: 115,160,201,300 VND and Dinh Vu Logistics: 8,880,000,000 VND. Increase charter capital from 200 billion VND to 400 billion VND with bonus shares for existing shareholders.
- June 2013 officially put into operation Four newest generation RTG gantry cranes, improving loading and unloading capacity at the Container yard. Ranked in the "Top 1000 Enterprises with the highest income tax in Vietnam" voted by Vietnam Assessment Report Joint Stock Company, Vietnamnet electronic newspaper and Tax Magazine (General Department of Taxation). For the second time, Dinh Vu Port was honored by Forbes-US Magazine in the "Top 200 best small and medium enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region". Ranked 10th in "Top 50 most effective businesses in Vietnam" voted by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine and Thien Viet Securities Company. "Vietnam Gold Star" award awarded by the Vietnam Young Business Association
