Establishment History:
- Doan Xa Port Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Doan Xa Stevedoring Enterprise, is a unit directly under Hai Phong Port, established under Decision No. 334/TCCB-LD dated June 28, 1995 of the Vietnam Maritime Administration.
- On October 19, 2001, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 1372/QD-TTg, deciding to convert Doan Xa Loading and Unloading Enterprise into Doan Xa Port Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of 35,000,000,000 VND, of which state capital is 17,850,000,000 VND, accounting for 51%.
- The company increased from 35 billion VND on November 1, 2001 to 54.5 billion VND on December 31, 2006 (including undistributed profits).
- On December 12, 2005, Hanoi Stock Exchange Center certified: Doan Xa Port Joint Stock Company was registered to trade common stocks at Hanoi Stock Exchange Center since December 12, 2005 with the stock code DXP.
- On November 13, 2006, the State Securities Commission certified: Doan Xa Port Joint Stock Company was listed with common shares at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange since November 13, 2006. The first trading day at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange was December 11, 2006.
- On December 25, 2007, the Company issued bonus shares to increase charter capital to 52,500,000,000 VND from the development investment fund and profit after tax in 2007 according to the resolution of the General Meeting of Shareholders dated November 20, 2007. 2007, of which state capital was 26,775,000,000 VND, accounting for 51%. On January 25, 2008, additional shares were officially traded at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.
- On May 21, 2009, Hanoi Securities Trading Center certified: Can Doan Xa Joint Stock Company was listed with common shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange since May 21, 2009. The first trading day at Hanoi Stock Exchange was June 8, 2009
- On May 16, 2011, the Company issued bonus shares at the ratio of 2:1 from the development investment fund, increasing charter capital from 52,500,000,000 VND to 78,749,720,000 VND according to the resolution. Resolution of the 2011 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on March 18, 2011. The number of additional shares issued was listed at the Hanoi Stock Exchange on September 6, 2011.
- In January 2013, the Company was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister for its outstanding achievements in all work tasks, leading the patriotic emulation movement in the Transport industry in 2012.
- In January 2014, the Company was awarded the 2013 excellent emulation flag from the Ministry of Transport according to Decision No. 47/QD-BGTVT dated January 7, 2014 of the Minister of Transport.
- In May 2015, Vietnam Maritime Corporation divested capital and was no longer a shareholder of Doan Xa Port Joint Stock Company.
