Foundation history:

Vietnam Export-Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank is one of the first joint stock commercial banks in Vietnam, established on May 24, 1989 under Decision No. 140/CT of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers with the original name of Vietnam Export-Import Bank.
Vietnam Export-Import Bank officially came into operation on January 17, 1990 and received Operation License No. 11/NH-GP signed on April 6, 1992 from the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam allowing the Bank to operate for 50 years with a registered charter capital of 50 billion VND and has a new name: Vietnam Import-Export Commercial Joint Stock Bank (eximbank for short)

Area of operation

Eximbank's headquarters is located on the 8th Floor, Office No. L8-01-11+16, Vincom Center Building, 72 Le Thanh Ton, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Eximbank's operational network by the end of 2013 had 206 transaction points in provinces and cities across the country, including: Transaction Department, 41 Branches, 162 Transaction Offices, 1 Savings Fund, 1 Transaction Point.
Currently, Eximbank's transaction network is present in 20 provinces and cities nationwide, including: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, Da Nang, Hue, Nha Trang, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, Long An, An Giang, Tien Giang, Can Tho and Bac Lieu.
