Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- Established on November 29, 1986 under Decision No. 3166/QD-UB of the People's Committee of Quang Nam - Da Nang province, with the name Quang Nam Da Nang Forest Specialty Export Enterprise, headquartered at 134 Hung Vuong - Hai Chau District - Da Nang City. The main activity of the enterprise is exploiting and processing wood and forest products for domestic consumption and export. The apparatus of the Union Enterprise includes the Board of Directors (3 members), 2 affiliated units (Tien Phuoc Specialty Tree Drinking Forest Enterprise and Hoi An Viet Duc Moc Enterprise) and 4 professional departments (TCHC; financial accounting; Materials planning; Specialty Forestry Department). The enterprise is directly under the People's Committee of Quang Nam - Da Nang province. In 1997, the name was changed to Quang Nam Forestry Products Export Company.
- Implementing Decision No. 155/QD-UB dated January 15, 2004 of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province on the equitization of state-owned enterprises managed by the Province and Decision No. 5084/QD-UB dated December 9, 2004 of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province on approving the plan to equitize the state-owned enterprise Quang Nam Forestry Specialty Export Company. On January 1, 2006, it officially transformed into Quang Nam Forestry Specialties Export Joint Stock Company and operated under the first Business Registration Certificate No. 3303070165 dated December 30, 2005 issued by the Business Registration Office, Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Nam province with a charter capital of 30,000,000,000 VND.
- The company has officially joined the Vietnam Forest Products Trading Network (VFTN) since December 6, 2006. Currently, the company has COC, ISO 9001-2008 certificates, and is implementing a program according to the set of standards on Social Security - abbreviated as BSCI.
- After many years of pursuing the implementation of a sustainable forest management program according to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) principles and criteria. On September 18, 2012, the Company was officially granted FSC certification by the World Forest Stewardship Council for 1,500 hectares of planted forests.
- On July 2, 2007, the State Securities Commission (SSC) approved the public company registration application of Quang Nam Forestry Products Export Joint Stock Company.
- On August 20, 2014, Vietnam Securities Depository Center (VSD) issued Securities Registration Certificate No. 58/2014/GCNCP-VSD to Quang Nam Forestry Specialties Export Joint Stock Company.
- Currently, Quang Nam Forestry Specialty Export Joint Stock Company operates under Business Registration Certificate No. 4000101608 issued by the Business Registration Office, Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Nam province for the first time on December 30, 2005 and changed for the 8th time on November 23, 2017 with a charter capital of 30,000,000,000 VND.
