Formation history:

The predecessor of Geru Star Sports Joint Stock Company was a state-owned enterprise called Sports Equipment Manufacturing and Trading Company, established in 1994, under Vietnam Rubber Corporation (now Vietnam Rubber Industry Group).
According to Decision No. 4443/QD-BNN-TCCB dated December 9, 2004 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Company converted from a state-owned enterprise to a Joint Stock Company model and took the name Geru Stars Sports Joint Stock Company.
The company officially operates under the Joint Stock Company model from June 1, 2006 according to Business Registration Certificate No. 4103004761 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City for the first time on May 17, 2006 (2nd change on June 10, 2008, 3rd change on November 2, 2011, 3rd change on November 2, 2011, 1st change Wednesday, May 25, 2014), Charter capital is 22,000,000,000 VND.
