- Founded in 1957, formerly known as X30 workshop under the Military Ordnance Department - General Logistics Department - Vietnam People's Army. With nearly 200 employees responsible for producing hard hats and rubber sandals for the military, the technology is mainly manual and semi-mechanical.
- In 1961: X30 Factory was transferred to Hanoi Department of Industry - Hanoi People's Committee.
- In 1967, X30 factory received a number of other units and changed its name to Thuy Khue Rubber Factory.
- In 1970, merged with Hanoi Cloth Shoe Factory and had the main functions and tasks: Producing hats, shoes and rubber products for the military, exporting to the Soviet Union, Eastern European countries and the domestic market.
- In 1978, merged with Thuong Dinh Cloth Shoe Factory and took the name Thuong Dinh Cloth Shoe Factory.
- In 1993, officially named Thuong Dinh Shoe Company
- In July 2004, Thuong Dinh Shoe Company established an additional Ha Nam Leather Shoe Export factory in Dong Van Industrial Park - Ha Nam.
- From August 2005, the Company transformed into Thuong Dinh Shoe Joint Stock Company, directly under Hanoi People's Committee. Currently, the Company has over 2,000 employees and 7 modern footwear production lines.
