Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- The former Viet Tri Paper Factory, the predecessor of today's Viet Tri Paper Joint Stock Company, was started construction in December 1958, and went into operation on May 19, 1961; Initial capacity 18,000 tons/year, main product is printing and writing paper.
- In October 1998, Viet Tri Paper Factory changed its name to Viet Tri Paper Company. During this period, Viet Tri Paper Company was approved by the Prime Minister for an investment project on an industrial packaging paper production line of 25,000 tons/year; In 2002, the industrial packaging paper line went into production, contributing significantly to increasing the company's entire capacity
- In October 2008, the Company switched to operating under the model of a joint stock company with state capital at a 29% Company.
- In 2010, the Company invested in an additional printing and writing paper production line of 20,000 tons/year, increasing the Company's capacity to 80,000 tons/year.
