Foundation history:
- 1990: HDG's predecessor was a construction enterprise under the military technical institute of the Ministry of Defense, established on October 9, 1990.
- 1992: Ha Do Construction Company was established under Decision No. 75B/QD/QP dated December 12, 1992 and transformed into an accounting unit with 08 dependent units, 01 consulting unit, 01 industrial equipment center and branch offices. ban;
- 1996: Ha Do Construction Company merged with Electromechanical Equipment Company according to Decision No. 514/QDQP dated April 18, 1996 of the Minister of Defense, taking the common name Ha Do Company - HADOCO;
- 2004: The Minister of National Defense issued Decision No. 163/2004/QD-BQP dated December 9, 2004 on converting Ha Do Company into Ha Do Joint Stock Company and operating in a corporate direction.
- 2005: After completing the equitization work, the Company decided to transform its operating model into a Parent-Subsidiary Company. The company has converted member enterprises into joint stock companies in which Ha Do Joint Stock Company holds a controlling stake of over 50%, including: Ha Do 1 Joint Stock Company, Ha Do 2 Joint Stock Company, Ha Do 4 Joint Stock Company;
- Early 2008: Ha Do Joint Stock Company continued to convert the remaining 3 enterprises into joint stock companies, including: Ha Do 3 Joint Stock Company, Ha Do 5 Joint Stock Company, Ha Do Construction Consulting Company, established Ha Do Trading Joint Stock Company and transferred the Nam Pong hydroelectric project in Quy Chau District, Nghe An Province for Za Hung Joint Stock Company.
- By May 2008, Ha Do Joint Stock Company had 6 member joint stock companies and 2 joint venture companies, operating under the Group model, taking the official name Ha Do Group.
- The Company's shares have been officially traded on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange since February 2, 2010 with the code HDG with a total of 13,500,000 shares
