- In 1956: Hanoi Institute of Irrigation and Hydropower Design Survey (predecessor of Irrigation Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company II) under the Ministry of Irrigation (now the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) was established.
- In 1975: After the South was completely liberated, a part of the workforce, machinery and equipment of the Hanoi Institute of Irrigation and Hydropower Design Survey was separated and mobilized to work in the South and another part of the Central Agricultural Committee of the Southern Department from the liberated area came to take over the city. - September 1982: The Southern Irrigation Design Team and the Southeast Survey Team were merged and named: Southern Irrigation Design Survey Sub-Institute according to Decision No. 605 QD/TCCB dated September 11, 1982 of the Ministry of Irrigation
- March 1985: The Southern Irrigation Design and Survey Institute was renamed the Southern Irrigation Design and Survey Enterprise according to Decision No. 161 QD/TCCB dated March 19, 1985 of the Ministry of Irrigation.
- March 1989: Southern Irrigation Design and Survey Enterprise was renamed Southern Irrigation Design and Survey Institute according to Decision No. 573 QD/TCCB dated March 30, 1989 of the Ministry of Irrigation.
- February 1993: Southern Irrigation Design and Survey Institute was renamed Irrigation Design and Survey Company II according to Decision No. 67 QD/TCCB dated February 20, 1993 of the Ministry of Irrigation
- September 1995: Irrigation Design Survey Company II changed its name to Irrigation Construction Consulting Company II according to Decision No. 80 QD/TCCB dated September 6, 1995 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development;
- In 2004: Irrigation Construction Consulting Company II was equitized into Irrigation Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company II according to Decision No. 3393 QD/BNN-TCCB dated October 15, 2004 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
- December 29, 2004: Irrigation Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company II officially went into business under the joint stock company mechanism with a charter capital of 15 billion VND, of which the state holds 30%.
