Formation and development process:
- Hoang Ha Hai Phong Paper Joint Stock Company (business code 0201282851) is headquartered at No. 194 Kieu Ha Street, Dong Hai 2 Ward, Hai An District, Hai Phong City, Vietnam, established by 05 founding shareholders on January 5 November 2012, with an initial capital contribution of 18 billion VND to implement the Duc Duong paper factory restructuring project.
- Duc Duong paper factory invested by Duc Duong Paper Production Cooperative (Duc Duong Factory) was started construction in 2007. After nearly 2 years of construction and installation, the Kraft paper production line with a capacity of 15,000 tons/year was completed and started to be put into use from the beginning of the year. 2009. After successful trial operation, by 2010 the factory went into production, however the output at this time only reached 30-50% of capacity with the regular corrugated Kraft paper product line. In 2011, the Bank applied a reduction in the loan limit, Duc Duong Enterprise encountered capital difficulties, only operated moderately and by the end of 2011 had to stop production, could no longer repay debt and was at risk of bankruptcy. Therefore, the Bank has issued a notice looking for partners to sell mortgaged assets of Duc Duong Enterprise to recover debt.
- With the introduction of Vietinbank, in September 2012, the founding shareholders surveyed the actual assets of Duc Duong Enterprise, after considering, calculating, making plans, discussing and agreeing with the Bank, they decided to establish Hoang Ha Hai Phong Paper Joint Stock Company in November 2012. to buy back the entire factory of Duong Duong Enterprise, take advantage of all existing facilities and legal facilities, invest in renovating, supplementing and upgrading lines to convert to the glued corrugated Kraft paper product line. Due to its strengths in paper production technology, capabilities, capital resources and management experience, only 8 months after receiving handover, the Company put Hoang Ha Paper Factory into stable operation (saving a lot of time if investing in a new paper factory) with the product line of corrugated Kraft paper (carton packaging paper) under the brand name Hoang Ha Paper. Up to now, the Company's output, revenue and profit targets have continuously grown over the years.
- Since May 16, 2018, the Company has been approved by the State Securities Commission to become a public company according to Document No. 3105/UBCK-GSĐC.
