Establishment History:
- 2010: Hoang Anh Gia Lai Rubber Joint Stock Company oka decision to establish when Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company carries out the restructuring program transferred to HAGL Agrico LLC, Rubber Joint Stock Company Hoang Anh Quang Minh, Hoang Anh Rattanakiri Co., Ltd., Hoang Anh Dak Lak Joint Stock Company.
- Year 2011: Signed a Contract with the Lao Government on amending the Project Development Contract and increasing the scale Project from 10,000 hectares to 19,950 hectares, of which the additional development area is 9,950 hectares, including 7,950 hectares of rubber and 2,000 hectares of oil palm in the province Attapeu . Immediately after that, signed a contract to develop a sugarcane planting project and build a sugarcane complex in Attapeu, Laos. Signed land lease contract with an area of 9,000 hectares in Talav and Nhang communes, Andoung district Meas, Ratanakiri province between the Royal Government of Cambodia and Hoang Anh Oyadao Co., Ltd. to invest in rubber development. Signing a land lease contract with an area of 9,470 hectares in the district Konmum, Rattanakiri province between the Royal Government of Cambodia and Hoang Anh Andoung Co., Ltd. Meas to invest agricultural development. The Royal Government of Cambodia and the Cambodia Development Committee have issued an Investment Certificate for the Project.
- 2012: Inaugurated and put into operation a sugarcane factory with a capacity of 7,000 tons/day and a thermal power plant running from bagasse with a capacity of 30 MW in Attapeu. Completed the construction of a latex processing factory with a capacity of 25,000 tons/year in Attapeu province.
- 2013: Inauguration of sugarcane industrial cluster and Hoang Anh Attapeu rubber processing factory in Laos on February 25, 2013. Groundbreaking for Nong Khang international airport project, Hua Phan province, Laos on March 14, 2013.
- 2014: Completed planting of 42,500 hectares of rubber, 17,303 hectares of oil palm, 8,000 hectares of sugarcane and 5,000 hectares of corn in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Invest in developing advanced beef and dairy cattle farming models according to international standards. The total number of beef and dairy cows is expected to be 236,000.
- Year 2015: In April 2015, the company changed its name from Hoang Anh Gia Lai Rubber Joint Stock Company to Hoang Anh Gia Lai International Agricultural Joint Stock Company, and merged Tay Nguyen Dairy Joint Stock Company, expanding its business activities. Construction of a palm oil processing factory with a capacity of 45 tons of fresh fruit per hour is underway and is expected to be put into operation in the second quarter of 2015. This factory can process 270,000 tons of fresh fruit/year, enough to serve about 9,000 hectares of oil palms put into first exploitation. In the future, when more oil palm area is put into exploitation, the company will plan to upgrade the current factory or build new processing factories accordingly.
