  • The Corporation's predecessor was Hanoi Fiber Factory, built and put into operation in 1984.
  • April 7, 1978: Construction contract signed between Techno - Import Vietnam and Unionmatex (Germany)
  • February 1979: Construction started on the project
  • November 21, 1984: Hanoi Fiber Factory officially came into operation
  • April 30, 1991: Hanoi Fiber Factory changed its name to Hanoi Union Fiber - Knitting Factory. Trading name: Hanosimex.
  • June 19, 1995: Hanoi Union Yarn - Knitting Enterprise changed its name to Hanoi Textile Company.
  • February 28, 2000: Hanoi Textile Company changed its name to Hanoi Textile and Garment Company
  • Period 2000-2005: The company developed continuously in the trend of international economic integration, transforming the business model and expanding business activities.
  • Period: 2005 - 2006: The company focused on implementing the "Parent company - Subsidiary company" model and equitizing member companies
  • February 2007: Hanoi Textile and Garment Company transformed into Hanoi Textile and Garment Corporation (Hanosimex). Also during this time, Hai Phong Textile Production - Import-Export Company held a Shareholders' Meeting to become Hai Phong Trading Joint Stock Company - Hanosimex, in which Hanosimex accounts for more than 51% of charter capital.
  • December 2007: Hanoi Textile and Garment Joint Stock Corporation equitized state-owned enterprises according to Decision No. 2636/QD-BCN dated July 30, 2007 of the Minister of Industry. The Corporation held a Shareholders' Meeting to implement the Government's policy of enterprise innovation and officially transformed into Hanoi Textile and Garment Joint Stock Corporation from January 1, 2008 (the State holds 57% of charter capital).
  • January 2008: The Corporation was granted Joint Stock Company Business Registration Certificate No. 010010826 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi City on January 22, 2008 with a charter capital of 205,000,000,000 VND (two hundred and five billion VND).
  • May 2013: Hanoi Textile and Garment Joint Stock Corporation has developed to include: 13 member units (8 joint stock companies and 1 limited liability company and 4 member factories) with nearly 4,500 employees with annual production capacity of about 21,000 tons of yarn/year, 2,600 tons of knitted fabric/year, 13 million knitted clothing products/year, and 13 million cotton towels of all kinds/year (equivalent to 2000 tons/year).
  • Currently, the Corporation is one of the few units with the leading Fiber - Textile - Garment supply chain in Vietnam.
