Establishment History:
- Established in 1978 with the original name Ha Dong Civil Construction Company under Ha Dong town, Ha Tay province (formerly) now Ha Dong, City. Hanoi;
- In 1995, the Company was upgraded and re-established under Decision No. 324/QD-UB dated July 1, 1995 of the People's Committee of Ha Tay Province (formerly) now City. Hanoi, renamed Ha Dong Construction and Housing Trading Company under Ha Tay Construction Department (formerly) now City. Hanoi;
- In August 2000, the Company moved under the Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation - Ministry of Construction according to Decision No. 877/2000/QD/UB dated August 7, 2000 of the People's Committee of Ha Tay Province (formerly) now City. Hanoi; Decision No. 1151/QD-BXD dated August 18, 2000 of the Ministry of Construction on accepting Ha Dong Housing Construction and Trading Company as a member enterprise of the Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation and changing its name to Urban Development Investment and Construction Company No. 3.
- July 2004 Urban Development Investment Construction Company No. 3 transformed into HUD3 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company under Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation - Ministry of Construction according to Decision No. 1182/QD-BXD dated July 22, 2004 of the Ministry of Construction build.
- In 2010, the Government decided to establish a pilot Viet Housing and Urban Development Corporation Nam, formerly known as the Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation, under which HUD3 continues to be member of the Housing and Urban Development Group according to Decision No. 55/QD-Ttg dated January 12, 2010 of the Prime Minister.
- October 2012. The Ministry of Construction re-established the Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation. The company HUD3 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company continues to be a member of HUD according to decision No. 896/QD-BXD October 10, 2012 of the Ministry of Construction.
