Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- The Corporation's predecessor was Hai Hung Garment Export Factory, under TOCONTAP - Ministry of Foreign Trade, established in 1966.
- In 2004 the company was equitized and operated under the joint stock company model. In 2005, the Company officially operated as a joint stock company with the name Hung Yen Garment Joint Stock Company. The company was granted a Joint Stock Company Enterprise Registration Certificate for the first time on January 4, 2005 with an initial charter capital of 13,500,000,000 VND, to date the company's charter capital is 135,500,000,000 VND.
- From July 2011, Hung Yen Garment Joint Stock Company changed its name to Hung Yen Garment Corporation - Joint Stock Company.
- On November 29, 2017, Hung Yen Garment Corporation - Joint Stock Company was granted Securities Registration Certificate No. 218/2017/GCNCP-VSD by the Vietnam Securities Depository Center and issued the stock code HUG.
