Summary Timeline of Establishment & Development
Early 1960s – 1986:
In 1960, Construction Site 105 was started with poor and outdated facilities. With the attention of the leaders of the Hanoi Construction Department (now the Department of Construction), Construction Site 105 was transformed into Construction Company 105. After merging Construction Site 108 with a part of Construction Site 5 (belonging to Construction Company 104) and Construction Company 105, Industrial Construction Company was established. In October 1972, in order to specialize in the construction industry, the Industrial Construction Company separated the company's electricity and water installation department to establish the Electricity and Water Equipment Installation Company, and changed its name to Industrial Construction Company under the Hanoi Department of Construction. Projects with hundreds of years of use value such as Giai Phong Mechanical Factory, Thinh Liet Concrete, Linh Nam Silicate, Ngo Si Lien Water Plant, Post Bo Ho Power Station, Dong Anh Bicycle Lock Factory are projects associated with the name of Industrial Construction Company. After 20 years of development, the Company has built 398 projects of all types, including 285 industrial projects, 113 civil projects with an output value of 110 million VND, and received certificates of merit and emulation flags awarded by ministries, branches and the State.
The post-reform period from 1986 to the years 2000:
Under the direction of the Hanoi Department of Construction, the Company has made fundamental changes to its entire management system, aiming to expand relationships, joint venture, close association between the Company and construction units in the Department of Construction, Hanoi Construction Corporation, Thikeco Company, Construction Company 18, LICOGI Corporation, Lilama Machinery Installation Corporation to jointly participate in the construction of many large projects such as: Dong Xuan Market, Hom Market, Hanoi P25 Detention Camp, Hanoi Stadium, etc. In addition to joint ventures and bidding partnerships, since 1994 the Company has entered into a joint venture with Malaysia's REYNONG Group to build the Noi Bai - Soc Son synchronous development zone project, including Noi Bai industrial park, golf course and tourism, has completely built key items and infrastructure, to date the project has over 20 100% foreign-invested factories operating in the industrial park. During this period, the Company was awarded the First Class Labor Medal, the Third Class Victory Medal and many Certificates of Merit from the City People's Committee and the Ministry of Construction. Typical projects during this period were recognized by 9 high quality gold medals and twice awarded the title of unit achieving high quality products in the Vietnamese construction industry, etc.
Period 2004 – 2015
Starting from October 2004, the Industrial Construction Company under the Hanoi Department of Construction officially became a member of the Corporation Investing in UDIC urban infrastructure development. Implementing the Party and Government's policy of reforming and rearranging state-owned enterprises, according to Decree No. 187/2004/ND-CP dated November 16, 2004 of the Government on converting state-owned enterprises into joint stock companies, Industrial Construction Company has converted state-owned companies into joint stock companies according to Decision No. 2320/QD-UB dated April 26, 2005 of the Party and Government. Hanoi City People's Committee. On August 2, 2007, the People's Committee of Hanoi City issued Decision No. 3081/QD-UB on converting the State-owned enterprise Industrial Construction Company into Industrial Construction Joint Stock Company.
The company has been granted a quality management system certificate according to ISO 9001: 2008 standards and is applying a quality management system comprehensive (TQM), striving to become one of the leading companies in the field of high-rise building construction in the Capital.
Success with the high-rise apartment project combining offices and services at 71 Nguyen Chi Thanh (modern building of 25 floors, including 01 basement, 5 service floors) is a meaningful first step for the Company to determine its focus in the new period - which is investing in high-rise apartment projects and new urban areas.
On the basis of combined traditional experience and with the direct direction of the leaders of the Urban Infrastructure Development Investment Corporation, the Company has participated in many implementations. Large projects such as: building 71 Nguyen Chi Thanh, the body of the 19-storey CMC Knowledge Building, 7-storey Phu Thuong Public Service House, 335 Cau Giay Trade Center, 22-storey building CT 22 in Nam Thang Long urban area, traffic engineering company headquarters building 3, 19-storey office of LILAMA 10 Machine Installation Company, CT-2C project includes 01 19-storey building, 01 21-storey building, Housing for workers of Bim Son cement factory, Veterinary medicine factory, North Thang Long Hospital, Yen Phong industrial park project, foundation and basement of Golf Club, Headquarter of Ninh Binh Provincial Tax Department, Hanoi Senior Athletes Training Center (the project has been attached with a sign to celebrate 1000 years of Thang Long - Hanoi), High-rise housing and service project 198 Bridges Tien.v.v... Currently, the Dai Kim high-rise apartment complex and commercial services project has also been approved by the City as a location to set up the project. High-rise apartment project No4 in the new urban area Southeast of Tran Duy Hung Street is working with the joint venture investors to make maximum efforts to implement project investment in the fourth quarter of 2010.
In 2009, the Company was honored to be recognized as an excellent labor collective by the Ministry of Construction, and received the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Construction. Hanoi People's Committee and Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister government. In the post-equitization period, the Company still grew strongly and achieved many achievements within the Corporation.
After 55 years of construction and development, Industrial Construction Company has been awarded 03 third-class Labor Medals by the Party and State. (1968, 1975, 1987); Second-class Labor Medal (1985); Victory Medal, third class (1996); First Class Labor Medal (2000); Third-class Independence Medal (2004); Vietnam Quality Award (2006), 11 projects were awarded high quality gold medals by the Ministry of Construction and the Construction Industry Trade Union, with signs to celebrate the country's major holidays, etc. Along with many Emulation Flags, Excellent Certificates of Merit from the Council of Ministers, the Government, the Ministry of Construction, the City People's Committee, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The company's Party Committee has for many years achieved the title of clean and strong Party Committee, Strong and Excellent Trade Union, and Excellent Advanced Ho Chi Minh Youth Union...
