Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- Vietnam Urban and Industrial Park Development Investment Corporation was established under Document No. 1011/CP-DMDN dated November 7, 2000 of the Prime Minister and Decision No. 26/2000/QD-BXD dated November 7, 2000 December 6, 2000 of the Minister of Construction on the basis of reorganizing the Companies: Urban and Industrial Park Development, Petroleum Construction. Western Construction belongs to the Ministry of Construction, Dong Thap Housing Investment and Development Company belongs to Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee and Long An Construction Company belongs to Long An Provincial People's Committee.
- December 21, 2006. The Corporation moved to organize and operate according to the model of Parent Company - Subsidiary Company according to Decision No. 1768/QD-BXD of the Ministry of Construction.
- On November 13, 2008, the Prime Minister issued Document No. 1963/TTg-DMDN and the Minister of Construction decided No. 1405/QD-BXD dated December 3, 2008 on the transfer of rights and obligations of the representative of the State owner. at Central Corporation (COSEVCO) for the Board of Directors of IDICO Corporation.
- Year 2000: Established the Corporation. IDICO was established in Decision No. 26/2000/QD-BXD dated December 6, 2000 of the Minister of Construction. The core to establish IDICO is the Urban and Industrial Park Development Company, the Petroleum Construction Company, and the Western Construction Company, which are enterprises under the Ministry of Construction and a number of enterprises under the People's Committee of the Southern provinces.
- Year 2006: Changing the operating model of Parent Company - Subsidiary Company. IDICO converted its form of operation to the Parent Company - Subsidiary company model according to Decision No. 1768/QD-BXD dated November 21, 2006 of the Minister of Construction. The transformation of the operating model has contributed to improving the capacity and initiative in managing production and business activities of the units, thereby improving competitiveness and IDICO brand, especially through the implementation of investment projects in industrial parks, hydropower, transportation, housing, production of construction materials, construction and installation, design consulting...
- Year 2010: Converted the business type into a single-member LLC. Decision No. 615/QD-BXD dated June 10, 2010 of the Minister of Construction on converting the Parent Company - Vietnam Urban and Industrial Park Development Investment Corporation into a one-member limited liability company;
- 2011: Equitization of Central Region Corporation
- From 2012 - present: At the time of establishment, IDICO has 8 affiliated businesses. Up to now, IDICO has a system of businesses including 5 affiliated units, 10 Subsidiaries (2 Companies IDICO holds 100% of charter capital, 8 companies IDICO 51% of charter capital) and 18 affiliated companies
