Foundation history:
- The company's predecessor was Tan Binh Mechanical and Electrical Enterprise, established on August 20, 1979. is a member of the MSG and Instant Noodles Union Enterprise, directly under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry.
- From October 1987 to May 1993, Tan Binh Mechanical and Electrical Enterprise was renamed by the Ministry of Light Industry as a Mechanical - Food Factory according to Decision No. 524/CNn-TCLD dated July 2, 1992 of the Ministry of Industry. Light.
- On May 7, 1993, the Food Mechanical Factory was established under Decision No. 448/CNn-TCLD of the Ministry of Light Industry.
- On May 25, 1996, according to Decision No. 1409/QD-TCCB of the Ministry of Industry, the Food Mechanical Factory was changed to Food Mechanical Company.
- On August 12, 1999, according to Decision No. 52/1999/QD-BCN of the Ministry of Industry, Food Mechanical Company changed to Industrial Mechanical and Construction Company under the Industrial Machinery and Equipment Corporation.
- On May 5, 2004, according to Decision No. 32/2004/QD-BCN of the Ministry of Industry on transforming the Industrial Engineering and Construction Company into an independent accounting member of the Saigon Beer-Alcohol-NGK Corporation.
- July 2005 according to Decision No. 2385/QD-TCCB of the Ministry of Industry, Industrial Mechanical and Construction Company officially transformed into Industrial Mechanical and Construction Joint Stock Company according to Business Registration Certificate: 0300628797 issued by Ho Chi Minh City Department of Planning and Investment on January 16, 2006 and the 4th change on April 13, 2012.
- Industrial Mechanical and Construction Joint Stock Company (IMECO) officially listed shares on UPCOM and the first trading day was December 1, 2009 according to the "Securities Registration Certificate" No. 77/2009/GCNCP-VSD dated October 28, 2009. Issued by Vietnam Securities Depository Center.
