Establishment History:
- Agricultural Printing and Packaging Joint Stock Company was formerly a map printing workshop established in 1969 with the mission of designing and drawing maps by hand to serve the needs of the State.
- In 1970, the facility was renamed Map and Photo Frame Printing Factory 1. In addition to drawing maps for the government, the Factory also printed economic management documents and commodity labels.
- In 1983, the workshop was renamed Agricultural Printing Enterprise 1 under the Ministry of Agriculture according to Decision 150NN-TC/QD dated May 12, 1983 with the task of printing documents and books for the industry and other publishers.
- In 1993, Agricultural Printing Enterprise 1 was renamed Agricultural and Food Industry Printing Enterprise under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, according to Decision 120NN-TCCP/QD. Along with the name change, the Enterprise has redefined its development direction, focusing on printing packaging and product labels.
- In 2002, the Enterprise was renamed Agriculture and Food Industry Printing Company under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development according to Decision 19/2002/BNN-TCCB/QD.
- On July 1, 2004, the Company transformed into Agricultural Packaging and Printing Joint Stock Company according to Decision QD686 dated March 22, 2004 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development with a charter capital of 27 billion VND, of which the state holds 25%.
- In 2008, the Company successfully increased its charter capital from VND 27 billion to VND 54 billion through issuance to existing shareholders, employees, strategic shareholders and public auction.
- The company has listed its shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange according to the Securities Registration Certificate No. 03/2010/GCNCP-VSD dated January 7, 2010 issued by the Vietnam Securities Depository Center and the shares have been officially traded since that date. January 22, 2010 to present.
