Establishment History:
- Tan Tao Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (ITACO), formerly known as Tan Tao Concentrated Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Construction Company Limited. The company is the investor of Tan Tao Industrial Park with a total planned area of 443.25 hectares. In which:
- The Existing Area with an area of 181 hectares was established on November 30, 1996 on the basis of the Prime Minister's approval of the Project on investment in construction and infrastructure business of Tan Tao Industrial Park, Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City.
- >Expansion Area with an area of 262.25 hectares was established on May 12, 2000 on the basis of the Prime Minister's approval of the Project on investment in construction and infrastructure business of the expanded Tan Tao Industrial Park, Ho Chi Minh City.
- Currently, Tan Tao Industrial Park is still the leading industrial park in terms of the number of factories in operation in Ho Chi Minh City with 184 units, attracting over 20,000 workers. By the end of June 2006, Tan Tao Industrial Park had 203 domestic investors and 34 foreign investors, the existing area had 146 investors & the expanded area had 91 investors.
- The company began listing with the code ITA on November 15, 2006 on the Ho Chi Minh City stock exchange. Consulting organization: Saigon Securities Joint Stock Company (SSI). Independent audit: auditing and accounting financial consulting services company (AASC) and auditing and consulting joint stock company (A&C).
- In 2007, Honored 100 leading successful and innovative businesses in Vietnam awarded by VCCI and VTV.
- In 2009, construction of infrastructure for Kien Luong Thermal Power Center with a capacity of 4,400 MW began.
- In 2011, One of the top 9 companies in Vietnam selected to calculate the Russell Vietnam Index.
- In 2012, Coordinated with Tan Tao University to successfully pilot a model of growing clean rice meeting Global G.A.P standards.
- In 2013, Officially introduced clean rice products branded Nang Yen, clean sticky rice King Lieu to the market
- >Year 2014: On March 7, 2014, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Document No. 230/TCNL-BOT announced the opinion of The Government Office agreed to let Tan Tao change the investment form of Kien Luong 1 Project from BOO to BOT. On April 27, 2014, the award ceremony of "Outstanding Manager of the Ho Chi Minh Era" under the direction and sponsored by the Central Propaganda Department solemnly took place at Hanoi Opera House. Ms. Dang Thi Hoang Yen, President of Tan Tao University and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Tan Tao Group was honored as "Manager excellent theory of the Ho Chi Minh era”. On December 20, 2014, Tan Tao Investment and Industry Joint Stock Company was honored to receive the logo 2014 Sustainable Development Enterprise Credit Index at the 'Index Announcement Conference' trust and awarded the 2014 sustainable development enterprise credit index" by the Vietnam Enterprise Institute, coordinated organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
- Year 2015: Tan Tao University was granted a license to train in the field of Medical Doctor and Biotechnology. Officially bringing clean rice products branded Nang Yen and clean sticky rice King Lieu to the market. President Dang Thi Hoang Yen was awarded the title of Outstanding Vietnamese Intellectual on the Front social economy 2013
