Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- Minh Hai Seafood Processing Export Joint Stock Company (Minh Hai Jostoco) was officially equitized and came into operation in 1995, after a period of time implementing the decision to pilot equitize Workshop 3 of Ca Mau Seafood Processing and Import-Export Company (Camimex).
- This is the first equitized State-owned enterprise in Vietnam's seafood industry. Charter capital after equitization is 10 billion VND with 51% held by the State. Production and processing activities only include small machinery workshops, with total output only reaching about 150 tons of finished products/month.
- In August 2003, the Company continued to sell 51% of state capital to outside parties and officially became a 100% privately owned joint stock company. With the open mechanism of a 100% private capital joint stock company, the Company has actively invested and restructured the business such as renovating and building 100% new workshops, investing in additional machinery and modern technology, recruiting and training skilled workers, developing markets, diversifying products... Thereby, quickly promoting production and business activities. Factory capacity increased four times and output increased to more than 600 tons of finished products/month.
- Currently, Minh Hai Export Seafood Processing Joint Stock Company operates under Business Registration Certificate No. 2000104034 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ca Mau province, first registered on August 12, 1998, registered for the 10th change on July 8, 2015 with charter capital of 153,227,230,000 VND.

- Processing seafood for export and domestic consumption;
- Shrimp farming, processing and import-export of seafood;
- Importing raw materials, materials, auxiliary materials and supplies to produce export goods. Importing equipment and machinery for business and for production and export;
- Cargo transportation business.
