Establishment History:
On March 27, 2002, Kinh Bac Urban Development Joint Stock Company was established. The company officially went into operation in April 2003. The company is a member of Saigon Invest Group (SGI), a financial and real estate investment group, specializing in construction, business and management of urban areas and industrial parks in Vietnam
The company's first project is the Kinh Bac Industrial Park - Service Urban Area complex with a total area of more than 1,000 hectares in Bac Ninh province. Up to now, the Company has implemented diverse business activities such as construction, urban area business, real estate business, leasing, renting factories or selling houses built by the company
On December 18, 2007, the company's 88 million KBC shares were officially traded for the first time at the Hanoi Stock Exchange Center.
2008: Top 10 leading stocks in Vietnam voted by Standard&Poor’s
2009: Changed name to Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation - Joint Stock Company; Changed listing to Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.
Year 2010: Created a new land fund: Acquired Saigon - Tay Bac Urban Development Joint Stock Company into a subsidiary to develop the Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park project in Ho Chi Minh City; Acquired Nam Son Hap Linh Industrial Park - Bac Ninh; Is the investor of the Dimond Rice project and the Diplomatic Corps Area in Hanoi
Year 2012: Established Trang Cat Company Limited, managing and developing Trang Cat Industrial Park - Urban Area project - Hai Phong
In 2013: Trang Due Hai Phong Industrial Park became part of Dinh Vu Cat Hai Economic Zone, successfully attracting Korean LG Group and satellites to this Industrial Park. This is an important milestone that helps KBC grow again after a period of many difficulties.
2014: Successfully restructured mature bond debts of VND 3,000 billion; Mobilized VND 1,200 billion in convertible bonds; Successfully signed the second contract with LG Group; The Group's profits grew nearly 4 times compared to 2013.
2015: Divestment of large investments in the Energy sector, reducing 60% of the value of long-term investments; Reduction of more than VND 1,067 billion in principal outstanding loans from credit institutions; Profit grew 93% compared to 2014; Easy access to credit institutions, has been granted a credit limit of about 545 billion VND to invest in Que Vo Industrial Park, Nam Son Hap Linh Industrial Park.
