Timeline of Establishment & Development
GCL Group Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Long Thanh Company Limited, was established and operated since June 1, 2009. On October 23, 2013, Long Thanh Co., Ltd. transformed its operating model into Long Thanh Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of 16,000,000,000 VND, business activities in the main fields of trading of construction materials and domestic freight transportation. With the advantage of key members and employees who have many years of experience in manufacturing and trading construction materials, therefore, in recent times, despite the general impact of the economic crisis, the Company has been establishing a foothold in the market. The number of agents and customers is constantly expanding, especially construction units, investors and contractors of apartment complexes and new projects. Due to the need to expand production and business, in 2015 the Company increased its charter capital from VND 16 billion to VND 68 billion through issuing shares to existing shareholders. Issuing capital to increase capital has helped the Company develop its business operations, improve competitiveness and anticipate new development opportunities in the coming years.
Charter capital increase process
Since operating as a joint stock company, the company has increased its charter capital once
- October 23, 2013: Charter capital 16,000,000,000 VND, converted from Limited Company to Joint Stock Company.
- March 26, 2015: Increase charter capital from 16,000,000,000 VND to 68,000,000,000 VND, through issuing shares to existing shareholders.
Main business:
- Construction of works, project items: Civil, industrial, transportation and irrigation. Construction of lines and transformer stations with voltage of 35 Kv or less.
- Demolition, leveling and site preparation
- Transporting goods by road
- Buying and selling construction materials (bricks, tiles, cement, stone, sand, gravel...)
- Sales of interior and exterior decorative goods.
- Iron and steel trade.
- Electrical and water installation for projects
- Wholesale of solid liquid fuel, gas and related products
- Mining stone, sand, gravel, clay.
- Production of concrete and products from cement and plaster.
