Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- On October 27, 1995, Kienlongbank was established with the name Kien Long Rural Commercial Joint Stock Bank, headquartered in Long Thanh commune, Giong Rieng district, Kien Giang province with a charter capital of 1.2 billion VND;
- In 1996, Kienlongbank was the first Joint Stock Commercial Bank in Kien Giang to transmit accounting data via telephone network from units to the Head Office daily;
- In 1997, successfully organized the 1st General Meeting of Shareholders;
- In 1998, inaugurated a new Head Office in Kien Giang, increasing charter capital to 2 billion VND;
- In 2000, increased charter capital to 4.5 billion VND;
- In 2005, increased charter capital to 28 billion VND;
- In 2006, changed its name to Kien Long Commercial Joint Stock Bank, changing its model from a Rural Bank to an Urban Bank;
- In 2007, increased charter capital to 580 billion VND;
- In 2010, increased charter capital to 1,000 billion VND;
- June 30, 2010, increased charter capital to 2,000 billion VND;
- December 31, 2010, increased charter capital to 3,000 billion VND;
- In 2012, connected ATM and POS systems with other banks, approved by the State Bank of Vietnam to be eligible to provide foreign exchange services;
- In 2013, put Kienlongbank Contact Center into operation;
- In 2016, expanded the network to 28 branches, completed the Data Center and upgraded the Core card system.

- Short, medium and long-term capital mobilization activities in the form of savings deposits, payment deposits, certificates of deposit;
- Granting credit in the form of loans, guarantees, factoring, discounts, and rediscounts of valuable papers;
- Supplying payment equipment, providing payment services, trading foreign exchange and performing other banking services
