In the period from 2000 - 2008, the Company operated with the model of Kim Vi Company Limited and from May 2008 to present, the Company operated with the model of a Joint Stock Company. Development process of Kim Vi company:- From 1989 to 2000: Establishment of Kim Vi Facility
- From 2000 to 2008: Established Kim Vi Company Limited. Kim Vi Company Limited operates with an initial charter capital of 5 billion VND.
- From May 2008 to present: Kim Vi Co., Ltd. continues to transform into Kim Vi Stainless Steel Production - Import-Export Joint Stock Company with charter capital when newly converted is 16 billion VND.
December 13, 2014: the company registered as a public company with the State Securities Commission.
- February 13, 2015: the company was approved by the State Securities Commission for public company registration.
- April 14, 2015: the company opened the listing of shares of Kim Vi Stainless Steel Import-Export Production Joint Stock Company with stock code KVC at Hanoi Stock Exchange
